This is the capacity of a miter drawn harvester greatly increases.
The harvesting unit in the linkage sprinkles two rows of potatoes and discards it between two adjacent ridges. The trailed harvester takes the default swath, including the two ridges to grub, then again. In total there are four rows harvested in one pass.
Advantages compared with a 2 row harvesting machine:
+ Huge capacity increase Tractor.
+ Tractor makes fewer hours (less fuel and man hours).
+ Use harvester is halved.
